Due to his ambition León de Castillo has founded a string orchestra, a quartett and a human-rights Festival in Vienna.

He also promotes several young musicians and composers.

León founded during the year of 2012 his chamber Orchestra "Valsassina Ensemble". During their first 14 months they reached incredible debuts: Carnegie Hall, Musikverein, Konzerthaus, Bellas Artes(Opera MexI

This young Festival is dedicated to Human Rights and focuses on many different young art forms.

One of the center parts is the mexican protest against the "Anschluss" of Austria to the Third Reich.

ROBERTO ABRAHAM:

 

Mexican composer, studied in Vienna (Conservatory Vienna) and in Salzburg (Mozarteum) Piano and Composition.

 

León was he first discoverer, promoter of his music.

MARCEL-RUBIN-QUARTETT:

 

As a part of his music research of composers living in Mexico, León dedicated together with Prof. Gruber a Quartett to the austrian composer Marcel Rubin.

León started his music research together with Prof. Dr. Gerold Gruber of the University of Music and performing Arts Vienna. Together they could bring many music pieces back to life during international concerts,
